Finally, after living the past 25 years of my life with mental illness, especially anxiety and depression, I am living my best life. It has taken a lot of hard work along with a lot of tears to get where I am today. I still have tough days as I realize that taking care of mental illness is something that one has to continuously work on in order to maintain good health.
Many people suffer everyday with mental illness. The purpose of this blog is to help others by offering advice, support and encouragement to those in need. Constantly having ups and downs and terrible bouts of depression in life is difficult, but through the help of family, friends, and professionals I am healthier now than I have ever been. The goal for me is to teach coping skills to help anyone in need to improve their quality of life.
